Skincare Routine: P.M.

1. Bioderma Misceller Water
I soak a cotton pad with this and wipe all my makeup off with this gentle solution.  Feels just like water and is not scented but works like magic!

2. Biore Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser
Same cleanser that I use in the morning (Read Review Here)

3. Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub
I exfoliate with this about 3 times a week, or whenever my skin feels “clogged”. It’s creamy with little microbeads that gently scrubs away dead skin dirrrtiness.  Another plus is that it smells so fresh! My skin is totally soft after using this.

4. Origins Make A Difference Ultra-Rich Rejuvenating Cream
Same moisturizer that I use in the morning (Read Review Here)

5. HBMIC Snail Aqua EGF Sleep Cream
On the days that I need extra moisture before going to bed, I  put a layer of this stuff on.  I need two pumps for my entire face.  My skin immediately feels radiant, moisturized, and protected.

When I get those annoying pimples a few times a month, I use these two to fight them off! I’ve been getting some random painful ones on my jawline this month… so weird.

Use both these products after your put moisturizer on at night!

Review: Bioderma Sensibio H20 (Micelle Solution)

First off, what is a Micelle Solution cleanser, you ask?
It’s SUPER GENTLE water-like solution that requires no-rinsing afterwards that effectively removes makeup & dirt from your face. Some people use it as a cleanser, but I use it specifically as a makeup remover. Because of its gentle properties, it’s great for all skin types and leaves your skin refreshed, clean and soft.

There’s quite a few brands out in the market, but the one that’s gaining fast popularity is the Bioderma Sensibio H20:

This product is soap-free and keeps your skin balanced.  It’s specifically formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin and gives you a really soothing feeling while you’re cleansing.

I don’t think it’s scented – so if you’re sensitive to scents, this is great for you.

The first time I used this, my skin felt super soft and toner and moisturizer felt more absorbant on my skin.

The only downside is that it’s pretty pricey.  I picked mine up at Shopper drug mart for $22 for 250mL.  I wish I got the 500mL though ($30).

How to use:
(It’s not really HOW TO USE, but this is how I use it)

  1. Soak a cotton ball/pad with the solution, wipe it all over your face until there’s no makeup left.
  2. Apply cleanser, massage your face with it, rinse.
  3. Pat your face dry.
  4. Apply toner with a cotton ball/pad
  5. Apply moisturizer

If you’re in the market looking for a cleanser or a makeup remover, pick one of these guys up and you won’t regret it! :)
